Leading operator in Moscow and St. Petersburg, Mastertel, has completed a major project to build a telecommunications infrastructure at the Radisson Blu Airport Hotel.
The hotel, which was put into operation in May of this year, was provided with Internet and telephone numbers. In addition, Radisson Blu Sheremetyevo was united with the Park Inn by Radisson complex using a high-speed link with inbuilt potential for expansion.
It is planned that the Radisson Blu Sheremetyevo will have its own direct ‘indoor’ walkway to the main airport terminals and bar overlooking the airfield. The 379-room Hotel will be the second of its kind for the Rezidor Hotel Group in Sheremetyevo. The Company is already located a few hundred meters from the Park Inn Hotel. The new Radisson Blu hotel will be the group’s sixth in Moscow region.
Commenting on the project, the Executive Director of Mastertel, Vitaly Ezopov, said: "Telecommunications services are assigned an important role in the hotel business, as the level of service is one of the main competitive advantages of any hotel. After all, thanks to modern electronic systems, employees can serve customers at a high level. Ensuring the functioning of the entire telecommunications infrastructure in the new hotel complex, Mastertel optimizes the customer's expenses for communications and offers guaranteed quality of service."
"An important factor in the success of the hotel business is ‘intelligent’ work in the supply of tourist related infrastructure via telecommunications systems. One of the main requirements was to promptly increase the carrying capacity of Internet channels, as network loading is growing in large hotels. An example is video conferencing, which requires smooth operation at a steady speed. Considering the high competence of Mastertel in such matters, we look forward to comprehensive assistance from our telecom partner in this direction," said Roman Meleshkin, IT Director at the Radisson Blu and Park Inn by Radisson.
