Mastertel, leading telecommunications company in Moscow and St. Petersburg, has reported on the successful implementation of its project for Rambler & Co.
In connection with the transfer of the IT infrastructure from one data center to another, Rambler needed to implement the construction of a temporary optical line to the data center (from which Rambler & Co. would transfer their equipment) and ensure a smooth transfer as well as increasing data- security and redundancy. Rambler & Co. trusted Mastertel with this task.
The initial task was to create a robust, reliable telecommunications infrastructure, which would ensure quality data with maximum independent optical lines.
Using the resources of their unique Master-Connect fiber-optic network, Mastertel's experts suggested a comprehensive solution for the laying of cables of independent high-capacity, thereby ensuring complete customer diversification of telecommunications infrastructure.
"This project has given us invaluable experience and simultaneously provided operational cooperation at three different sites. Such large-scale work involving the entire range of our services allows us a creative approach to problem solving, to attract specialists in various fields, to develop flexible techniques and to encourage client-oriented teamwork," said Vitaly Polizharov, Head of Key projects at Mastertel.
"Rambler & Co. is actively developing, expanding the number of services and information resources. Our readers should be informed on time and without interruption. Therefore, when choosing a telecommunications partner, we always focus on the competence and reputation of the company. We are grateful to Mastertel for the prompt and, most importantly, high quality solution for a 'migrating' IT infrastructure," said Ruslan Shiryaev, Technical Director at Rambler & Co.
