Mastertel is planning to provide all of Moscow’s Techno-Parks with connection channels based on Master-Connect’s dark fibre network.
At the present moment, in three Moscow districts (Kozhuhovo, Ghagino and Zelenograd), the Techno-Park sites are being selected. According to the words of Mikhail Vishegorodtsev, Head of Moscow’s Department of Entrepreneurship Support and Development, the total area of Techno-Parks in Moscow will reach 3.0 million square meters by 2010, 1.8 million of which will be manufacturing territories for city use, and the remaining 1.2 million for district use.
“For us this project is socially significant because the operation of techno-parks means the use of science-driven technologies and highly intellectual work. This motivates Russian scientific potential and stops brain drain for ‘abroad’”, – thinks Pavel Ranikov, the Vice Technical Director of New Technologies of Mastertel.
