In conjunction with ‘The Moscow Times’ Mastertel has hosted a successful conference entitled ‘Commercial Real Estate Today: Investment, Development, Management.’ The business-society gathered to discuss the latest trends in the country’s economy, which are influencing commercial property development. The first part of the conference consisted of a discussion led by Michail Semenov, the Executive Director of the Renova Stroy Group. The discussion focused on the analyses and forecasts of the property market’s investment activity. Such matters like the Capital’s territorial expansion were up for discussion, as well as Russian and Western investments in property development and project’s financing instruments. In addition, analysis was carried out of recent foreign investment transactions. Industry leading representatives such as Fleming Family and Partners Real Estate, Jones LangLaSalle, ALURInvestments & Development, CB Richard Ellis Russia and others took part in the discussions. The second half of the conference was devoted to discussions regarding geography in development and management. The reporters were: Eugeni Sandomirskiy (ZAO Mastertel) who analyzed the increasing profits of management companies due to mini-data-management centers; Alexander Gendelsman (Azimuth Hotels Company) who looked at the prospects of 3-star hotels; Sergey Fadeev (Technosila) who spoke about the future of small shopping centers.
