THE HENDERSON PRIVATE INTERNATIONAL COMPANY EXPANDS IN RUSSIA AND OPTIMIZES TELECOMMUNICATIONS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH MASTERTEL

Company profile:

HENDERSON is a men's clothes salon retail chain. It entered the market more than 18 years ago and offers Russian men elegant and stylish clothes for work and rest. The Company constantly expands and, at the present moment, has shops located in 25 Russian cities in more than 74 large shopping centers. The Company has received many prestigious International awards, for example 'Brand of the Year / EFFIE 2006', Best Man's Clothes Retailer in Middle Category', 'Brands of Russia 2007' and others.

The Company focuses on the design of men's wear in the mid to high price segment. Constantly opening new retail points, the Company always provides telecommunications solutions in order to increase service level.

Case

In 2003 the Henderson chain turned to Mastertel to provide a basic telecommunications package: dedicated connection lines and telephony. Later, with the Company's growth and new shops and branches opening, the Company management made a decision to relocate its office. So, naturally, the Company asked its acting telecommunications partner for support in the relocation process.

Solution

Naturally a large International Company operating system would require the use of a large computer park, high quality connection and new technologies. Every element of the system has to work without failure in non-stop regime and be part of a well-set connection with the other elements. This is particularly important in such a difficult time as a Company's relocation. This is because it requires the consolidation of the efforts of many divisions working together.

'One of most important roles in any office relocation is played by a Company's IT-Department. In the shortest possible time we have to connect up all working places, tune the office connection and inform all staff members of changes resulting from the relocation. Of course most important in this process is to quickly re-establish connection and Internet in order that the internal IT-services can promptly restart its direct duties.'

Mastertel managed to prepare and carry out the office relocation so the connection, in fact, was never interrupted, despite the fact that the Company's two offices (central and one other) were relocated simultaneously. Mastertel's Technical Department established a telephony center and connected the high-speed Internet service in the new building.
